Our mission is to provide news, information and resources for production people making TV, Films, Commercials, and digital video content. While our content is valuable for creatives, our focus is on helping those creators responsible for the nuts and bolts of production – from the latest business and finance industry news to resources they need — in order to bring in their productions on time and under budget.
Production.Ink was started by and for production folks who understand the unique challenges we face in today’s fast evolving media landscape. Whether it is AI, streaming, virtual locations or traditional production, our team has been in the trenches and can provide insight and analysis to help others get the job done.

Elizabeth Parchment is the Director of Marketing/Chief Diversity Officer for the NJ Motion Picture & Television Commission.
Tim Munday has been working in the entertainment, advertising, and production industry for over 20 years. Tim has acted in TV, films, and commercials, as well as created several plays and sketch comedy groups. By 2008, Tim had produced over 200 commercials, including five Super Bowl commercials, shot and edited several behind the scenes videos and electronic press kits, and interviewed several major celebrities. Tim became a Business Affairs and Rights Management specialist at Wonderful and Beats by Dre tracking and maintaining several commercials and other assets. In 2014, Tim moved over to sales for The TEAM Companies as Vice President of Business Development and later worked at Wrapbook in the same position. Tim is now Senior Business Affairs Manager at Birdie Management.
Karin Henderson is a veteran advertising and creative pro with more than 30 years experience building campaigns for media companies and consumer brands. Karin has held senior creative positions at MTV, Grey Advertising and NBCUniversal and founded and led her own ad agency that developed creative for Showtime, TCM, WeTV, Lifetime, AMC, The History Channel, A&E, Sundance Channel and more. Karin’s work has won more than two dozen awards, including Clios, Cannes Lions, Tellys, Effies, and Promax/Gem awards.
Andrew Gelman, the Founder and President of Cranetown Media, LLC, has carved out a significant career in the media and entertainment industry. With over a decade of experience at the helm of Cranetown Media, Andrew has led the company from a single-client operation in 2009 to a powerhouse of the industry with 350+ clients, including top 10 media companies today. Prior to Cranetown, Andrew's managed teams at PDR Network, LLC and Rodale Inc., where he led the transition from print to digital/video for these leading U.S. health and wellness publishers. Prior to Rodale, Andrew honed his media skills in the labor relations department at NBCUniversal as well as in the advertising & new media department at Davis & Gilbert and as a litigator at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. Andrew was educated at Georgetown University, Brandeis University, and the London School of Economics & Political Science.
Wendy Millman, a TV and Film producer, began her career at Starcom Worldwide/Leo Burnett, as a media buyer/planner. Transitioning to Arbitron, she embraced the role of Senior Client Service Representative, spearheading initiatives across the West Coast, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. In 2010, she pivoted into the captivating realm of TV and film production. Specializing in live and multi-camera shows, she has produced an array of projects, from electrifying music tours and stadium spectacles, to high-stakes corporate events, commercials, stand up comedy shows and Brand activations. Wendy's credits include producing Stand Up 2 Cancer Live Benefit, Bad Bunny Live at SoFi, NBC New Years Eve, and Red Nose Day. Wendy was educated at Bradley University, in Illinois.
David Clark, is the co-owner of Scout Source an industry-leading location service that represents over 800 locations for film, television, advertising, and still photography. Scout Source helps companies solve their creative problems by providing them access to a database of production friendly locations. David currently works as a Location Manager on television commercials, a position he has had since 1997. He was President of the Association of Location Scouts and Managers and played a role in helping Commercial Location Scouts and Managers to be represented by Teamsters Local 817. As a Location Manager, David has helped hundreds of clients bring their creative visions to life. His extensive knowledge of the layers of municipal government helps productions gain the permissions necessary for a successful shoot, whether it is an international campaign for the Olympics (or the World Cup), to one of the fifty Super Bowl commercials he has collaborated on.
Jonathan Guttenberg is a managing director at Oaklins DeSilva+Phillips in New York. He is a highly experienced deal maker who specializes in media, marketing services, adtech, events, healthcare, consumer products, education and technology. Previously, Jon ran a strategic advisory firm where he advised companies on strategy, operations, product development, marketing, fundraising and partnerships, often playing interim management roles within many of these businesses. Earlier in his career, Jon was CEO of GORP.com, a leading internet content company focused on outdoor recreation and adventure travel. He was president and co-founder of LocalAlert, a mobile subscription-based news service, which was subsequently acquired. He was vice president of Epsilon Interactive where he oversaw M&A, strategy and partnerships; vice president of new media for Random House where he managed digital media for Bertelsmann’s US book publishing operations; manager of corporate development at Viacom where he investigated new business opportunities and acquisitions across motion pictures, television, cable, theaters, new media, theme parks, books, advertising and satellite distribution; and he was an analyst in corporate development for Columbia Pictures. Throughout his career, Jon has been instrumental in launching multiple companies, including six cable channels, two motion picture production companies, the digital divisions of two major media companies, a mobile content company and one of the earliest e-commerce companies. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
Yael Gelman graduated from Vassar College in the Spring of 2024 and received a Certificate in Book Publishing from Columbia University Journalism School this fall. During her time at Vassar, Yael was an editor of the Vassar Review, a literary and arts magazine, and a reporter for The Miscellany News. She interned at the Reuters Thomson Foundation in London and is now an editor and contributor for Production.ink as well as the founder of the Instagram Account found at @Paperbacksies.
